The Antares 2" Red (23A) filter is a planetary contrast filter that transforms how much detail you can pull from the brighter planets. Based on the well-documented Wratten 23A light-red spectral profile, it darkens the sky background and boosts the contrast of surface and atmospheric features — ideal for chasing the dusky markings of Mars and the cloud belts of Jupiter. The standard 2" thread screws directly into 2" eyepieces and diagonals.
