The Nikon Monarch 7 8x42 is an all-terrain binocular (ATB) prized for its exceptionally wide field of view and bright, high-resolution images. Nikon's ED (extra-low dispersion) glass minimizes chromatic aberration for sharp, color-accurate views, while multilayer-coated lenses and phase-corrected prisms maximize light transmission and contrast. Long eye relief keeps the full field visible even for eyeglass wearers, and hydrophobic coatings on the exterior lenses repel oil and water so droplets bead up and roll off.
