Periodic Table of the Elements Chart, 8.5 x 11 in
Every one of the 118 elements, photographed. Instead of the usual grid of bare symbols, this chart shows what each element actually looks like: a nugget of gold, a horseshoe of iron, the glow of a neon tube, a Hubble image of the Eagle Nebula standing in for hydrogen. The photographs are the work of Theodore W. Gray, in association with RGB Research Ltd.
Flip it over and you get the full reference table: atomic mass, melting and boiling points, density, electronegativity, electron configuration, oxidation states and atomic radius for all 118 elements.
Printed on lightweight card stock at letter size, it is cheap enough to hand out to an entire class and sturdy enough to survive a school year in a binder.
