CELESTRON UHC/LPR 2'' FILTER

Cut through light pollution and boost nebula contrast with the Celestron UHC/LPR (Ultra High Contrast / Light Pollution Reduction) filter. This 2" filter selectively blocks the wavelengths emitted by artificial lighting, including mercury vapor and sodium vapor lamps, as well as natural skyglow, while transmitting over 97% of the light across its 60 nm passband. The result is a darker sky background and noticeably improved contrast on emission nebulae, all while preserving a natural-looking view.
