Gaspésie & Magdalen Islands Minerals Collection, 15 Specimens – Minroc Science

This display collection brings together fifteen authentic mineral specimens from the Gaspé Peninsula and the Magdalen Islands (Québec), each individually labelled in a clear presentation case. It is an ideal introduction to the mineralogy of eastern Québec for students, teachers, amateur rock hounds and collectors.

The 15 specimens: agate, amethyst, anhydrite, white calcite, cerussite on galena, chalcopyrite, red dolomite, gaspeite, halite, hydrozincite on argillite, malachite on argillite, olivine, stibnite, sylvite and tenorite.

Assembled in Québec by Minroc Science. Each specimen is a natural sample, so colours, shapes and sizes vary slightly from one case to another.
