The Nikon Monarch Fieldscope 82ED-A is an angled 20-60x82 spotting scope built around an 82 mm ED (extra-low dispersion) objective that suppresses chromatic aberration for sharp, true-to-life color from edge to edge. Multilayer coatings on every lens and prism surface drive high light transmission for a bright field of view and reduced flare and ghosting in backlit scenes, while the dedicated MEP-20-60 eyepiece with field-flattener optics keeps the image crisp across the whole frame. The waterproof, nitrogen-filled body resists fogging and stands up to demanding field conditions.
